FORTUS Mechanical Anti-theft Devices

"FORTUS" gearbox locks are devices which limit (block) the gearbox driving mechanism, maximally complicating access of third parties to the driving of your vehicle.

"FORTUS" blockers comply with the very highest requirements for automobile anti-theft systems, are fully adapted for installation in different models of vehicles and are reliable mechanical means of protecting your vehicle, possessing the following characteristics:

  • In the "FORTUS" anti-theft systems modern pin-less locking technologies are used. Opening and closing the lock is done by way of turning the key 180 degrees.

  • The principle of how "FORTUS" anti-theft system works is based on the fixation of the moving parts of the shift mechanism (traction or gearshift plate) in the "reverse" position for manual transmission and "parking" for automatic transmission. Attempts to break it mechanically lead to the change in the shape of the traction, making operation of the vehicle impossible.

  • The main protective element of the "FORTUS" anti-theft systems is the use of highly secret cylinders of the patented Mul-T-Lock Interactive® system which guarantees protection from all methods of hacking known today.

The construction of the "FORTUS" anti-theft systems is designed taking into account the requirements of the vehicle interior and the ergonomics.

An individual approach to development of locks for each model of vehicle guarantees effective protection from theft.

Each gearbox lock comes with three keys and a unique code card by which a duplicate key can be ordered in special centers.

"FORTUS" gearbox locks are used as standalone mechanisms or as a part of a security complex (with the possibility of integration into a "master system").

Steering Wheel Locks

"FORTUS" steering wheel locks are mechanical anti-theft systems for blocking the steering shaft with the purpose of preventing the unauthorized use of the vehicle.

The design of the "FORTUS" steering wheel lock is represented by two basic elements: a sleeve held together with screws on the steering shaft and a pin put in the groove couplings to block the rotation of the steering shaft.

The "FORTUS" steering wheel lock blocks the steering shaft in the position of standard fixation of the steering wheel.

To block the steering shaft, a pin is put in the groove couplings until it clicks.

Unblocking happens by turning the key by 90 degrees in the lock cylinder and subsequently pulling the pin out of the groove couplings.

The use of the highly secret cylinder of the Mul-T-Lock Interactive® guarantees protection from all methods of hacking known today.

An individual approach to development of "FORTUS" steering wheel locks for each model of automobile guarantees effective protection from theft. The design takes into account not just the diameter of the steering shaft and the optimal length of the pin, but also the design features of the space in the vehicle beneath the steering column.

Each "FORTUS" steering wheel lock comes with three keys and a unique code key, by which a duplicate key can be ordered in special centers.

"FORTUS" steering wheel locks are used as a standalone mechanism of as part of a security complex (with the possibility of integration in a "master system").

Hood Locks

Hood Locks from "FORTUS" are mechanical anti-theft systems for the additional protection of the hood of the vehicle from unauthorized opening.

The "FORTUS" Hood Lock represents a mechanical blocking system, consisting of a locking device, a locking mechanism controlled by a cable in a flexible sheath.

The principle of its operation is based on the fixation of the hood relative to the vehicle frame.

Blocking occurs by the pressing on the cylinder of the lock. Unblocking occurs by means of turning the key 90 degrees in the cylinder and subsequently pulling the cylinder out of the housing of the lock.

The use of the highly secret cylinder of the patented Mul-T-Lock Interactive® system guarantees protection from all methods of hacking known today.

The "FORTUS" Hood Lock is installed covertly and absolutely does not violate the interior of the vehicle.

All "FORTUS" Hood Locks comes with three keys and a unique code card by which a duplicate key can be ordered in special centers.

The "FORTUS" Hood Lock is used as a standalone mechanism or as part of a security complex (integration into a "master system" is possible).
